The Congress

The Congress, night shot. I already showed you about the Congress in an early posting. For more information, this is where both the House of Representatives – la Camara de Disputados – and the Senate – el Senado – gather in this building dating back to 1906, sharing the same architect, Vittorio Meano.

I love it how the lights come out in this photo! Is there any special reason why the flag is pulled halfway down?

Thanks you guys for your comments.

Nicola -- good point. I did not see it a first sight. I have no idea why it is pulled halfway down. I took this shot on a Saturday late afternoon. Could it explain why it is like this.. I don't know..
