The streets in Buenos Aires never get empty. It is a permanent traffic of pedestrians and cars, day and night. For the facts, the city itself has a population of 2,776,138 according to the 2001 census [INDEC], while the Greater Buenos Aires conurbation has more than 12.4 million inhabitants. The Gran Buenos Aires (English: Greater Buenos Aires) is the metropolitan area around the city of Buenos Aires, which comprises 24 partidos (administrative subdivisions) of the Province of Buenos Aires.

Hi Karine, I like this kind of street scene photo, lots to see...Restaurant Sorrento, parking fee (is it considered expensive?) and from yesterday's photo, is BA usually bilingual?

Lisi -- Buenos Aires is not bilingual, and Argentines refer to their language as castellano (Castilian).
